What kind of dessert is this (see description below)? - chocolate baklava

It is a whitish center and soft, but soft and slightly tough, and covered with chocolate and nuts. It may be of Mediterranean origin and is located in a business that sells packages sold, and baklava. I asked the clerk what it was and he said he did not know, unless it was some kind of dough.
